Some shows offer discounted matinee performances; you can easily identify those offering them by visiting their website or calling the theater directly. Please keep in mind that these are often only available during specific times of year so it is wise to call and inquire early.
A classic way to find discounted tickets in Duffy Square is at the TKTS booth under the red steps, selling discounted same-day and next-day tickets for all but the biggest Broadway hits. Open evening performances beginning at 3pm as well as matinee performances Wednesdays, Thursdays and weekends, it can get busy so it is wise to have your top choices ready before approaching it – new productions don’t usually appear until they have become major hits like “Hamilton” or “Wicked.”
Some schools and workplaces provide their employees with benefits such as discounted tickets to Broadway shows. Round Rock ISD provides many work perks to its employees, including ticket discounts through its Plum Benefits and Working Advantage programs – these discounts cover Broadway shows, movies, theme parks and other attractions that qualify. Customers who qualify can purchase them either ahead of time or at the box office on performance day.
