How To Get The Gap Factory Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher discount we could confirm, so there’s no code or verification step to walk through. ID.me’s Gap Factory page says, “We’re not aware that Gap Factory offers Teachers discounts.” Gap Factory’s Encore membership page has no teacher or educator wording in our read of it.
What Gap Factory does offer is Encore, its membership program. The page lists the Core level as open to all, with free shipping on orders of $50+ for Encore members and 5 points per $1 spent, and it says 500 points = $1 reward. The Premier level is for members who spend $350+ per year, and the page’s details say Premier members can choose their own sale day, 15% off, once per year.
One line of the Encore fine print mentions students. It says discounts cannot be combined with Brand Ambassador, student, or Gap Inc. employee discount but can be combined with other eligible offers in a single transaction. The line names a student discount only to say what it can’t be combined with, and the page doesn’t describe one, so we can’t tell you what it is or who qualifies. The same details say the discounts exclude gift cards, shipping, taxes, merchandise sold and shipped by third-party sellers and third-party merchandise at Banana Republic.
The next best thing is cash back on an order you were going to place anyway. The button below goes to TopCashback, where the Gap Factory page says to get 4% of the price back.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
TopCashback says to get 4% of the price back with its Gap Factory cash back offers. Its exclusions include the purchase of a Gap Factory gift card and use of the loyalty program or Gap Collaboration items, and use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback. Its terms say that if an item is returned, your cash back for the whole order will be declined.
Rakuten lists 2% cash back at Gap Factory. Its terms say cash back isn’t available on the purchase of gift cards or on the order portion paid for with reward points, and that using coupon codes not listed on Rakuten will void cash back.
We didn’t find a Fluz page for Gap Factory. Rates move, so look at the number on each site before you pay.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We read the Encore page in a browser rather than with our usual page reader, and we didn’t open every page on gapfactory.com, so a teacher offer on a page we didn’t read wouldn’t have turned up. We also can’t see whether a Gap Factory store would give a courtesy discount at the register, since that wouldn’t appear on a public page. TopCashback’s exclusions mention use of the loyalty program, and we can’t say whether signing in to an Encore account counts as that, so check TopCashback’s page before you shop if you’re an Encore member.
