We couldn’t confirm a teacher discount from Fiat, and we know that isn’t the answer you were hoping for. Fiat’s own offers page lists three programs: one for employees of partner and supplier companies, one for first responders and one for military members. Educators aren’t named on it, and the Fiat USA sitemap we read has no educator or teacher page either. If a dealer quotes you a teacher price on a Fiat, that’s the dealer’s own offer, and we couldn’t trace it back to Fiat.

Fiat’s discount programs are run by FCA US LLC, the company that also stands behind Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Alfa Romeo, and Fiat USA’s site has a model page for the 500e. That matters for you because the one program on the page that could reach a school employee, Affiliate Rewards, belongs to that whole family of brands and depends on who your employer is, not on what you teach.

How To Get The Fiat Teacher Discount

There’s no Fiat teacher offer to apply for, so there’s nothing to verify against. The nearest thing is Affiliate Rewards. Fiat’s page describes it as an exclusive benefit for employees of partner and supplier companies. Eligible employees buy or lease an eligible new vehicle at the Affiliate Rewards Preferred Price, which is 1% below dealer invoice, and they can apply current incentives and rebates on top of it. The dealer invoice is the amount the dealer paid for the vehicle.

Here’s how the program lays out the steps. Your company’s Affiliate Rewards Coordinator, usually someone in HR or benefits, gives you a Company Code. You sign in on the program’s site to get two Control Numbers, which are the discount codes, each calendar year, and then you take one to a dealership. Proof of eligibility is a paycheck stub from within the last 30 days, and a $75 administration fee is already built into the Preferred Price.

We couldn’t confirm that any school or school district is on the partner list. The program’s site has an eligibility check where you type in your employer’s name, and we didn’t enter one, so we can’t tell you either way. If you want to try it, the program lives at FCA Affiliate Rewards. Fiat’s page also says the list of ineligible vehicles can change at any time and tells you to contact a dealer for model eligibility, so ask about the exact car before you plan around the price. Our Chrysler page walks through the same program from the Chrysler side.

The other two programs on Fiat’s offers page are tied to who you are outside the classroom. The First Responders Bonus Cash Allowance is $500, and it covers police officers, sheriffs and deputies, correctional officers, state troopers, federal law enforcement officers, 911 operators and dispatchers, career and volunteer firefighters, EMTs and paramedics. The Military Bonus Cash Allowance is also $500, under Fiat’s Military Incentive Program, for active, reserve and retired military, disabled veterans and veterans within a set window of their discharge date. If you volunteer with a fire department on the weekends, or you served before you taught, one of those is worth a look on Fiat’s offers page.

Q&A

Does Fiat give teachers a discount?
Not one we could confirm. Fiat’s offers page lists Affiliate Rewards, a First Responders Bonus Cash Allowance and a Military Bonus Cash Allowance, and it doesn’t name educators.

Can a teacher use Fiat’s Affiliate Rewards program?
Only if your employer is one of the select partner or supplier companies in the program. We couldn’t confirm that any school district is. The program’s site has an eligibility check where you enter a company name.

How much does Affiliate Rewards save?
The Preferred Price is 1% below dealer invoice, with a $75 administration fee included, and current incentives can be applied for additional savings. Fiat says the offer is valid for up to two vehicles per calendar year.

Is there cash back on a Fiat?
We checked Rakuten, TopCashback and Fluz, and none of them has a Fiat page.

Could Fiat add a teacher program later?
It could, and Fiat’s offers page is where one would show up first. Check it right before you shop, and ask the dealer to put any educator price in writing.

More Information:

The findings above come from Fiat’s offers page and sitemap and the FCA Affiliate Rewards program site, as they loaded when we checked. Programs change, so confirm before you sign anything. Nothing here claims a discount that Fiat hasn’t offered to teachers. See more unavailable teacher discounts confirmed the same way.
