Davis Farmland Discovery Farm for children 12 and under offers lots of animals, water spray park, slip-n-slide, farm animal interactions, cafes and gift shop all under one roof. Admission tickets must be purchased to enter, though teachers have some ways to save!

Redstone Hill Road was home to the children’s farm established by George Davis seven generations ago in 1846. Since 1990, they have created a simple petting zoo where over 100 breeds of livestock such as Highland cattle, Poitou donkeys, Nigerian Dwarf goats, alpacas and more than a dozen types of alpaca reside.
Davis Farmland maze opened in 2018, honoring the patriarch and founder of their family farm. Spanning eight acres and featuring over three miles of pathways with over a dozen bridges (including double-decker) as well as seasonal special events and an apple orchard during fall months, Davis Farmland offers something to everyone at any age!
Kelley says she had never even heard about this policy until last month, when her son Austin tried to visit with his grandparents and was asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver and told he must be accompanied by an adult due to being too old. Kelley was taken aback at this news; “I truly never knew about this.” She vows not to return until this policy changes – this weekend the farm is holding its annual Safety Weekend offering free admission for active health care workers, firefighters, police officers, EMTs and military personnel!
