As teachers head back into school, many companies are showing their gratitude with offers on food, books and supplies for teachers – such as Chipotle’s offering of buy-one/get-one burritos to teachers this week in honor of Teacher Appreciation Day and National Teacher Appreciation Week.
Chipotle Mexican Grill is offering teachers free burritos through a social media giveaway until August 15, and customers can nominate their favorite teachers by commenting on its Facebook, Twitter or Instagram posts with their tag names and nomination. Out of those nominations Chipotle will choose 2,000 teachers at random from comments posted and provide each with an “Burrito Care Package,” including 50 vouchers to share among their students and colleagues, according to its press release.
Teachers can utilize the Chipotle app to sign up for special offers and coupons from Chipotle restaurants, as well as be alerted of local fundraising events like Chipotle Gives Back fundraisers that support education.
Chipotle will offer educators an awesome buy-one/get-one deal on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until closing time at participating locations if they bring in their valid school faculty ID card. This offer only applies for burritos, bowls, salads and orders of tacos and does not apply online, mobile, fax or catering orders.
