Carter’s doesn’t list a teacher discount. We read its pricing and promotions page, its Rewards FAQ and its customer service page, and none of them mention teachers or educators. The only offer on the pricing page aimed at a group is free shipping on orders over $35 to APO and FPO addresses, listed under Military Discount. What we could confirm is a free rewards program and cash back: Rakuten and TopCashback list 2%, and Fluz lists 9% cashback on Carter’s gift cards.
If you’re picking out a baby gift for a coworker or a few things for your own kids, there’s no teacher rate to apply here. The savings below are open to any shopper, so you can use them without a school ID or email.
How To Get The Carter’s Teacher Discount
There isn’t a Carter’s teacher discount to claim. Carter’s pricing and promotions page says Carters.com and Oshkosh.com offer free shipping on orders over $35 to APO and FPO shipping addresses, and it doesn’t name teachers or educators anywhere. It also says that to get promotional codes, you sign up for emails to receive special offers, news about sales and new products, and other great benefits.
The button below goes to Fluz, whose Carter’s page is titled Carter’s gift cards with 9% cashback. That’s the highest rate we found, and it comes from buying a gift card, which the cash back section below explains.
Carter’s Rewards
The Rewards FAQ describes Carter’s Rewards as a free loyalty program. You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on Carter’s, OshKosh B’gosh, Skip Hop and Little Planet products, and 100 points = a $5 reward. If you were a member of My Rewarding Moments, the FAQ says you’re now in Carter’s Rewards.
The FAQ says points expire 6 months from the day they were earned. It also says points won’t be awarded for non-merchandise items such as gift cards, shipping, gift wrap and tax, which means the gift card route below wouldn’t earn points on the card purchase itself.
Promo Codes And Stacking
The pricing page says usually only one promotional code can be applied to each eligible order, and that promotional codes cannot be combined. Its coupon policy adds that a coupon can’t be used in combination with any other coupon offers, Grandparent Wednesdays or special military discounts. So if an email code and a coupon both look good, you’ll need to pick one.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz. The page is titled Carter’s gift cards with 9% cashback. The 9% is on a Carter’s gift card you buy through Fluz and then spend at Carter’s, so you pay for the card up front and the cash back comes from buying it. That’s a different kind of saving from the other two, and TopCashback and Rakuten both exclude gift cards, as covered below.
Rakuten. The Carter’s page on Rakuten is titled Carter’s Coupons, Promo Codes & 2% Cash Back. Its terms say Cash Back is not available on the purchase or redemption of gift cards, and that using coupon codes that are not listed on Rakuten will void Cash Back. If you plan to use a code from a Carter’s email, read that second term first.
TopCashback. The Carter’s page on TopCashback says: Get 2% of the price back with our Carter’s Cash Back offers. It lists the purchase or redemption of a Carter’s gift card and use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback as excluded.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We read Carter’s website only, so we can’t rule out a teacher offer that’s handled by phone or at a store register. We read the Fluz page’s title and nothing more, so we can’t say how the gift card is delivered or whether the 9% holds at every purchase amount. We also didn’t check whether Rewards points are earned when you pay with a gift card, or whether a Fluz card works with an emailed code. Read the rate on the page you click through from before you check out.
