Calm takes 40% off Calm for teachers. The offer is on Calm’s education page, which is written for teachers and students, and it works through a Get 40% off button on that page. You pick the offer and sign up. There’s no verification step to complete first.
If you remember Calm giving educators free Premium subscriptions, that program is over. Calm no longer accepts applications for them. It now offers free classroom PDFs instead, covered below, and this 40% off is the way to get the full app for less. See more health and fitness discounts for teachers.
How To Get The Calm Teacher Discount
- Open Calm’s education page.
- Select Get 40% off.
- Create your Calm account or sign in, and choose your plan.
- Look at the total before you pay. It should show 40% off Calm.
What Teachers Get Free From Calm
Calm’s free classroom resources are two PDF guides that don’t need a login or a subscription. “30 Days of Mindfulness in the Classroom” has age-specific lesson plans for PreK-12 students, with daily mindfulness exercises and free access to select Calm Kids content, which is marked with asterisks in the guide. “Self-Care Guide for Teachers” is written for you rather than your students, with tips for managing classroom stress and preventing burnout.
The audio links in the guide play without a login, so you can use them in morning meetings or during quiet time. Because the PDFs don’t need a password, you can also email them to parents so students can use them at home.
When The Free Guides Aren’t Enough
The guides are free, and the rest of Calm isn’t. For the full Calm library, including Daily Calm and the full Sleep Stories, you need a personal Calm Premium subscription, which is where the 40% off helps. If your school or district wants access for a whole staff, Calm points you to Calm for Business for school-wide access and bulk subscriptions.
