We read its FAQ, promotion terms, promotions page, Bonus Club FAQ and homepage and found no teacher or educator offer, and ID.me says it isn’t aware that Build A Bear offers Teachers discounts. What we did find is cash back: TopCashback says you can get up to 3% of the price back.

How To Get The Build-A-Bear Teacher Discount
There isn’t one to get. Build-A-Bear’s FAQ says all valid Build-A-Bear Workshop offers and promotions can be found on its promotions page, and none of the pages we read ties an offer to teachers. The way to take a little off an order is cash back: TopCashback’s page says you can get up to 3% of the price back on your Build-A-Bear purchase.

Cash Back Routes We Checked
TopCashback’s Build-A-Bear Workshop page lists 3% on an online purchase and 1.5% on an online purchase of a jumping spider stuffed animal and giant gargoyle. Its exclusions are the purchase or redemption of a Build-A-Bear Workshop gift card and the use of a coupon code not displayed on TopCashback. It also says that to be eligible for cash back on all products, you must begin your purchase with an empty shopping cart.
We didn’t find a Fluz page for Build-A-Bear, and Rakuten’s address for it loads a general page instead of a store page. If you’re buying a gift card for someone, note that TopCashback leaves gift card purchases out.
Coupons And The Bonus Club
Build-A-Bear’s FAQ says rules and restrictions apply and that coupons and other promotions cannot be combined. It also says coupons or offers shared on crowd-sourced coupon platforms such as RetailMeNot, Honey and others may not be official Build-A-Bear offers. Since TopCashback leaves out any coupon code it doesn’t display, a code from a coupon site can cost you the cash back as well.
The Bonus Club FAQ says becoming a Bonus Club member is free and that Reward Certificates are provided after every 100 points earned. That’s a rewards program for any shopper, and it isn’t tied to teachers.
Gifts For Teachers
If you’re shopping for a teacher rather than as one, Build-A-Bear’s Teacher Appreciation Gifts page is a gift shop of plush toys and teddy bears. It’s a shop page with regular prices, so there’s no discount attached to it.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We didn’t read Build-A-Bear’s Parties or Corporate Events pages, and we can’t speak for what a store associate might offer in person. We didn’t place an order, so we haven’t seen cash back track at checkout.
