Barre3 doesn’t have a teacher discount, either in its studios or on barre3 online. Its studios are franchised and separately owned, and Fluz, TopCashback and Rakuten don’t list Barre3 for cash back. Your first studio class is free at participating studios, though, and barre3 online has a 14-day free trial.
Barre3 combines ballet barre, yoga and Pilates into full-body workouts. You can take classes at 200+ studios or stream barre3 online, where there are 2300+ on-demand workouts. See more health and fitness discounts for teachers.
How To Get The Barre3 Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher code and no verification to go through. Start with the free options, then ask about price:
- Find a participating studio near you on the Barre3 studio finder and book your free first class.
- If there’s no studio close by, or you’d like to try it at home first, start the barre3 online 14-day free trial.
- When you’re at the studio, ask what it charges for a membership or a class package, and whether it has a rate for school staff. Studios are separately owned, so one studio’s answer doesn’t carry over to the next.
What You’ll Pay
Studio memberships and class packages are priced by each studio, so ask yours. A barre3 online subscription has set prices: $30 a month on the 1-month plan, $25 a month on the 3-month plan, and $199 for the first year on the 12-month plan. All subscriptions auto-renew, and the annual plan renews at $239.88 after the first year. Check the total at checkout before you subscribe.
Studio Memberships
Studio memberships typically come with a 30-day commitment and a 30-day written notice of cancellation, though these policies vary by studio. A class package or membership is only valid at the studio where you bought it, although some studio owners have more than one location and may let you attend any of them. Class packages don’t include barre3 online, but some studio memberships do, so ask when you sign up. You cancel a studio membership through your local studio.
Using An HSA Or FSA
Barre3 is HSA and FSA eligible through Truemed. Truemed says members save an average of 30% on barre3 for 12 months. You take a short health survey, pay a $12 fee and, if you qualify, get a Letter of Medical Necessity. Then you pay for barre3 without using your HSA or FSA at checkout and submit the purchase to your HSA or FSA administrator for reimbursement. Truemed says claims are typically paid out in one to two weeks.
Through Your School Or District
Barre3 online offers corporate subscriptions for employee or group needs. If your school or district has a wellness program, that’s a conversation to start with whoever runs it.
Who Qualifies
There’s no teacher verification at Barre3, because there’s no teacher discount. Whatever a studio gives school staff, if anything, is that studio’s own decision, so the question is worth asking when you book your free class.
