Apple has long recognized educators’ importance in shaping our future and as such offers them a teacher discount on products including MacBook Airs, iPad devices and software. This discount can be applied year round; it becomes particularly useful during back to school sales as well as holidays like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Full disclosure: If you visit a link on this page and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Apple does not require proof of eligibility when purchasing from their educational store, however they will occasionally check for fraud and will charge any customer who doesn’t meet these criteria with extra charges on their credit card bill.

Accessing an Apple Student Teacher Discount is easy by visiting its Education Store website, which features preselected items that can be purchased at reduced prices. All eligible educators simply need to add products they’re interested in to their cart and verify through UNiDAYS in order to gain the savings.

Apple removed this mandatory verification process on January 17th. Prior to that date, purchases from their educational store would need to be verified through UNiDAYS in order to get discounted pricing.
