Apple provides educators, students and education staff with special discounts on a range of its products through the Education Store. This includes MacBooks, iPads and certain monitors – plus they offer refurbished versions at even reduced rates!

Full disclosure: If you visit a link on this page and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

To qualify for this discount, teachers and students must be enrolled in an academic program or school and provide proof of status via verified academic email or the Apple for Education website. To make a purchase at the Education Store website, just add items you wish to buy into your cart before checking out; once ready for shipping you will be sent an order confirmation with discounted pricing details.

The Education Store often features back-to-school deals, offering additional savings or free items. During its last back-to-school season, for instance, they offered a $150 gift card when purchasing a MacBook and two free pair of AirPods when making any Mac or iPad purchase.

But don’t take advantage of Apple’s Education Store discounts unless you are an actual teacher or student; otherwise it will charge your credit card the difference and may even sue. While this discount provides teachers and students an incredible way to save money on Apple devices, the company wants to avoid abuse of its system.
