AMC appreciates and respects its customers and teachers by offering discounts both in-person and online. Teachers may need to present valid ID or pay stub as proof of status as qualified educators; in order to take advantage of some discounts they may need to sign up for AMC Stubs Insider loyalty program membership.
AMC provides students with discounts through its Student Pricing initiative, available every day with valid student ID. AMC Stubs Premier members can save by showing their card at the box office and getting free large popcorn and fountain drink each month as well as birthday presents loaded into their stubs account.
AMC Theatres’ new Preferred Sightline section pricing scheme, currently being piloted at select theaters in New York City, Chicago and Kansas City markets is garnering considerable media coverage. AMC will impose an additional surcharge of between $1 to $2 on middle and upper auditorium sections while front row seats remain at their regular prices; in order to properly show these changes via ticketing systems. A seat map will also be made available.

Members can save at theme parks, movies, concerts, sporting events and virtual events; plus they can take advantage of discounts at hotels and restaurants along with special privileges at popular theme parks like Disney World.
