We didn’t find a teacher discount at Acer. Acer’s US online store lists three discount groups in its footer, Military and Veterans, Healthcare Professional and Student, and teachers aren’t one of them. What we could confirm for educators is cash back: TopCashback says to get 4% of the price back on Acer orders, and Rakuten lists Acer at 3% cash back.
If you’re choosing a laptop for your classroom or for your own planning period, a few percent back on a bigger purchase still adds up, so here’s what each route covers and what it leaves out.
How To Get The Acer Teacher Discount
There isn’t one that we could find. The Acer Store footer links a Military and Veterans Discount, a Healthcare Professional Discount and a Student Discount. The Acer education page points to resellers and government contracts and doesn’t describe an individual teacher offer. Acer’s store says Modus Link BV is the authorised reseller and merchant of the products and services offered in the store.
The one discount that sits close to teachers is the student offer. Acer’s Student Discount page embeds a Student Beans widget that says it offers exclusive discounts to the following groups, and it lists a Student Discount and a Graduate Discount. It says to click through to verify and receive your discount for free. Teachers and faculty aren’t named, so it’s there if you’re also taking classes yourself, and not something to count on otherwise. The button below goes to TopCashback, the cash back route that pays the most of the two we found.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
TopCashback’s Acer page says to get 4% of the price back with its Acer Cash Back offers. The online purchase offer excludes Chromebooks, warranties and recovery hardware, and the page also lists pre-orders, limited inventory, ConceptD and orders over $5,000 as not eligible for cash back.
Rakuten titles its Acer page “Acer Coupons, Promo Codes & 3% Cash Back” and says cash back is not available on recovery hardware, warranties and Chromebooks. We didn’t find an Acer page on Fluz. Rates move, so check the number on the portal before you pay, and if you’re shopping for a Chromebook, neither portal pays on it.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
Acer’s Student Discount page doesn’t state a percentage, so we can’t tell you what the student offer takes off. We read the store’s home page, its Student Discount page, its FAQ and the education page, and we didn’t open the Military and Veterans or Healthcare Professional pages, so we can’t say whether either one names educators. We didn’t sign up for any portal or place an order.
