As an educator, you are probably already well aware that children under 15 years old can visit any National Park free. But did you know that fourth graders also qualify for free passes to the parks?

The National Park Service offers this pass as part of their Every Kid Outdoors program for kids from September through August and is good for the entire family.

Experience all that nature has to offer at its finest by making sure to bring along your pass when visiting national parks!

Teachers participating in the NPS Teacher Ranger Teacher (TRT) program receive extended professional development opportunities over summer that enable them to become immersed in National Park Service education programs, from exposure to projects, park resources and developing lesson plans that they can utilize in their classrooms.

Teachers participating in the Teacher Resource Team program gain access to a statewide network of other educators, which helps broaden NPS’s reach and expand outreach initiatives to underserved students.

National park teacher discounts can be found at various places such as hotels, museums and theme parks. You may access them using special discount codes or by showing your teacher ID card to staff members in these establishments.
