Ripley’s doesn’t list a teacher discount on the pages we read. ID.me’s Ripley’s teacher page says it isn’t aware that Ripley’s offers Teachers discounts, and the field trips pages for Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach describe school visits without one. What we could confirm is cash back: Rakuten and TopCashback list 3% for Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Fluz lists 1.5% with a Fluz virtual card.
If you’re planning a class trip to a Ripley’s attraction, or you’re heading in with your own family, a little cash back on the ticket is the one saving we could back up, so that’s what this page walks through.
How To Get The Ripley’s Believe It or Not Teacher Discount
There isn’t a teacher discount to claim at the ticket window that we could find, and if you’ve read that teachers can show an educator ID or proof of employment for a discount, we couldn’t find that on Ripley’s pages. The way to a lower price we could confirm is to buy your tickets through a cash back site.
The one we’d start with is Rakuten, since its Ripley’s page lists 3% cash back and describes the attractions it covers. Open it from the button below before you buy.
What The Field Trip Pages Say
The Aquarium of the Smokies field trips page says field trips are self-guided and include access to a range of animal and interactive galleries and daily experiences throughout the aquarium. It also says schools can add basic classroom programming to their field trip for free, with a small fee for programs that include dissections or tours.
The Aquarium of Myrtle Beach field trips page says classroom programs and cafeteria-style lunches can be added to field trip reservations for small additional fees, and that they must be reserved in advance to accommodate high demand. Neither page lists a teacher rate. If you’re looking at the Toronto aquarium, we cover it on its own page: Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Rakuten lists 3% cash back for Ripley’s Believe It or Not. Its description says the company offers a variety of other attractions across the United States, including Ripley’s Aquarium, Ripley’s Mirror Maze and Ripley’s Moving Theater. The terms say cash back isn’t available on the purchase or redemption of gift cards, and that using coupon or promo codes not listed on Rakuten may void it.
TopCashback says you can get 3% of the price back with its Ripley’s Believe it or Not! cash back offers.
Fluz lists 1.5% cashback at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! with a Fluz virtual card, and says the offer is valid only at official store locations. It also has a separate listing for Ripley’s Aquariums at 1.5% cashback with a Fluz virtual card. Rates can change, so check the number on the page before you buy.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The cash back pages don’t say whether a ticket for one particular Ripley’s attraction earns the listed rate, so check the page before you pay for a specific location. Rakuten describes attractions across the United States, which is why we haven’t listed it on the Toronto aquarium’s page. We also didn’t find a Ripley’s-wide teacher or educator page.
