Blue Man Group doesn’t list a discount for individual teachers. Its own pages name teachers only for school and youth group bookings, and the School Matinees page says they’re “Available for students, teachers, chaperones, etc. and not open to the general public.” That page sits under Las Vegas Group Offers, and the School & Youth Programs page says “Availability, pricing, and details for offers may vary by location.”
If you’re thinking about a field trip, there’s a route to ask about, and it goes through the sales team. If you’re buying tickets for yourself, the offers open to everyone are further down.
How To Get The Blue Man Group Teacher Discount
Individual teachers don’t get a ticket discount on the pages we read, but a school group can book through the sales team. The School Matinees page gives BMG.Sales@blueman.com as the contact for more information, and the School & Youth Programs page says “Ask our team about all the ways we can make your field trips more fantastic.” The matinee page gives no price, so expect to get a quote from the team before you can plan around a number.
What School Matinees Include
The School Matinees page describes a student-led Q&A session with a Blue Man right before a tailored performance and post-show meet and greet. Its perks list includes an educational Q&A session with a shortened performance as a fit for field trips, complimentary Lesson Labs that bring the Blue Man Group experience back into the classroom, and a custom show including a post-show meet and greet with cast. It also lists dedicated Blue Man Group staff to assist along the non-casino path between drop-off and the theater, and it names the Blue Man Theater at Luxor Hotel & Casino.
Free Education Guides
The School & Youth Programs page says “We offer complimentary education guides to teachers and administrators.” It says each lab has a lesson plan appropriate for three different age groups: Grades 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.
Shopping On Your Own
The Orlando offers page lists “Save Up to 30% on Child Tickets” and a Military Discount tile at “Save 25% on Adult Tickets.” The military page says Blue Man Group “is proud to offer 25% off adult tickets for active-duty military personnel, veterans, and eligible military members.” The Las Vegas offers page lists a LAS VEGAS LOCALS offer at “Save up to 50%,” and its Student Rush page covers college students with valid ID. Neither offers page has teacher or educator wording, so check each offer’s page for who it covers and when it runs.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
ID.me’s Blue Man Group page lists “Teachers save up to 18%,” and its teacher page says Blue Man Group has a Teachers discount and/or cash back offer. Blue Man Group’s own offers pages don’t mention it, and the listing gives no terms or dates, so we aren’t counting on it. We also couldn’t find what a school matinee costs, since the pages give no price, or which cities other than Las Vegas run school groups.
