Discovery World attracts educators as one of its core groups of customers. They strive to broaden their educational impact with experiences like virtual and augmented reality experiences, field trips, summer camps and new exhibitions; its new Innovation Pavilion represents another step in this direction with flexible space that can host traveling technology or freshwater exhibits.

Teachers can save money at Discovery World with special discounts and deals offered throughout the year, such as showing their identification card or pay stub to a member of staff at the attraction. Furthermore, teachers can sign up for Barnes & Noble’s Educator Discount program and save 20% on purchases as well as enrolling for the free Educator Appreciation Day event held in most stores.
Other educators can get discounts at select retail outlets by showing their ID cards, such as Ann Taylor LOFT where the “Loves Teachers” program offers 15% off full-price orders; Banana Republic does the same, and Charlotte Russe gives teachers 10% off all regular and sale price orders when showing their ID card. Also keep in mind that many concessionaires operating gift shops at national parks may provide teacher discounts so it would be wise to check before heading there!
