Regal Cinemas is one of the largest movie theater chains in America. Their premium theaters provide luxury amenities and feature an extensive movie selection. Furthermore, Regal offers subscription services that enable customers to see an unlimited number of films every month at a reduced rate – an excellent way to save money and impress friends and family members at once!
An iconic Regal theater has closed down following its parent company’s bankruptcy filing and restructuring plans, leaving an MSU Denver film professor and longtime cinemagoer shocked to hear of its closure: the Davis Holiday 6 in downtown Boulder had been open for 35 years before closing down, which “is a big blow for local economies,” Vincent Piturro told CNN affiliate KUSA.
The Davis Holiday 6 offers six screens with more traditional, non-stadium seats. Additionally, its vintage projection system has been replaced by digital systems. Alongside standard movies, independent and foreign language titles are shown at this theater; special events for Regal Crown Club members such as $6.50 Movie Tuesday are held regularly as well.
Regal Cinemas’ Summer Movie Express program provides nine weeks of G and PG-rated movies at participating theaters for just $1 per ticket, available exclusively at their box offices on show days. A Summer Movie Express website can help customers locate nearby locations, browse movie listings and purchase tickets easily; an added convenience fee applies for online and mobile ticket purchases.
