Nasco Education no longer has a teacher discount to claim, because it no longer takes orders of its own. The company is now part of School Specialty, its last day for direct orders has passed, and the Nasco products that carried over are sold through School Specialty’s site. If you came looking for an old Nasco educator price, the closest thing now is a 15% off offer for School Specialty’s email subscribers, plus special pricing for schools and businesses that open an organization account.
Nasco Education started in rural Wisconsin, when a teacher named Norman Eckley couldn’t find the tools he needed to prepare his students for jobs in agriculture and made his own. He founded Nasco Education from his garage and shared his teaching aids with teachers everywhere through mail-order catalogs. Over the years it grew into a supplier of hands-on materials, curriculum and professional development for kindergarten through 12th grade.
How To Get The Nasco Teacher Discount
There’s no Nasco teacher discount to claim and nothing to verify. Orders placed directly with Nasco ended on a set date, and every order after it goes through School Specialty. A Nasco order is now a School Specialty order, so how you save depends on how you’re buying.
If you’re ordering for a school or business, create an account with your organization on School Specialty to get your organization’s special pricing. That pricing needs no special codes. If you’re buying with your own funds, start with a personal account instead.
The 15% Off Offer At School Specialty
School Specialty gives 15% off your next order when you share your email address with it. The order has to come to $99 or more of eligible items, and the discount covers every category except clearance and non-discountable items. The code works only on schoolspecialty.com, can’t be combined with another promotion and can’t be applied to an earlier order. The promo code expires on 12/31/26.
That makes it a good fit for the shopper who used to order a single kit or a class set from Nasco. If your cart is under $99, the code won’t apply, so it helps to fill the cart first and sign up before you check out.
If You Have A Nasco Order Or Account
Orders Nasco had already taken are processed as normal. For anything about an order, School Specialty Customer Care takes calls at 888-388-3224. If you shopped on NascoEducation.com, School Specialty recommends creating a School Specialty online account so your shopping carries on without a gap.
Where Else Teachers Save On Classroom Supplies
Nasco’s hands-on science, math and classroom materials are now part of School Specialty’s catalog, which also covers arts, STEM and facility products. For craft and art supplies, our Michaels teacher discount page covers the verified-educator discount at that store. Our Really Good Stuff and Oriental Trading pages cover two classroom supply shops that don’t have a teacher discount, and the cash back routes that do exist.
