Birkenstock takes 10% off full-price styles for verified teachers, and the offer is for the US online store only. Its ID.me page says the discount “can only be redeemed at www.birkenstock.com/us”, which is the US online store, and the page doesn’t say whether it works in a Birkenstock store.
If your clogs have finally given out after another year on a hard classroom floor, or you’re picking out a pair for a colleague, the thing to know before you shop is that this discount comes off full price and nothing else. Sale styles and 1774 styles are left out, so it won’t stack on a markdown.
How To Get The Birkenstock Teacher Discount
The Birkenstock ID.me page says: Proudly offering 10% off full-price styles for Students, Teachers, Nurses, Medical Professionals, First Responders and Military. You verify with ID.me at checkout, and the page says the discount is applied automatically during checkout after successful verification. Look at your order total once the discount has gone on, before you pay.
The page says the discount is valid for verified ID.me Students, Teachers, Nurse, Medical Professional, First Responder and Military users on full-price styles. The page names Teachers alongside the other groups, so a teacher is who you’ll be verifying as.
What’s Left Out
Only full-price products are eligible. The page says 1774 and Sale styles are excluded and the discount can’t be combined with any other coupons or offers. It also says the discount isn’t combinable with other Birkenstock discount codes or offers and can’t be applied to previous orders, so a pair you already ordered won’t get the discount added afterward.
ID.me’s Birkenstock listing goes a little further. It says the discount isn’t valid on products Birkenstock USA LP deems Last Chance (products listed at a discounted price on Birkenstock.com with a struck-through value), on BIRKENSTOCK 1774 styles, or on Birkenstock.com gift cards. Birkenstock employees aren’t eligible for the offer either.
Online Only
The page says the discount can only be redeemed at www.birkenstock.com/us. That’s the US online store, so you’ll place the order there. The page doesn’t mention physical stores, so we wouldn’t plan on showing a teacher ID at a counter and expecting the same 10%.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
The page names Teachers and points to ID.me for eligibility, but it doesn’t define who counts. We can’t tell you whether it covers K-12 only, college instructors, support staff or retired teachers. The page also doesn’t state an end date for the offer, and it doesn’t say whether the terms change during a Birkenstock sale event, so read the page again right before you order.
