Paramount+ gives teachers 50% off any Paramount+ plan for the first 12 months. You verify as an educator on a short form, using your school-issued email address, and the offer is valid for one year with the option to reverify at the end of it.
It’s one of the few streaming discounts that covers any plan and not only the cheapest tier. Paramount+’s own student page describes the same 50%, but it doesn’t mention teachers, so the teacher offer lives on a separate verification form that we’ve linked below.
How To Get The Paramount+ Teacher Discount
Open the teacher verification form. It’s headed with the line “Verify your status as a teacher and get 50% off any Paramount+ plan,” and it adds that the offer is valid for one year, with the option to reverify your status at the end of the term. The form asks for your school name, first name, last name and email address, and the email must be your school-issued address. SheerID also publishes the offer on its own Teachers Get 50% Off Any Plan page, which says annual verification is required.
What The 50% Covers
The form’s fine print says new and returning educator subscribers get 50% off the regular price of any Paramount+ subscription plan for the first 12 months, and that annual teacher verification is required. It says the offer is open to US residents only and that you must be 18 or older. After the first twelve months your plan auto-renews at the then regular price, which the form lists as monthly plans starting at $8.99 a month and annual plans starting at $89.99 a year, plus tax, until you cancel.
Regular pricing can change, so work out the half-price number from the plan you actually pick at checkout and not from those starting prices. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of your billing period, and the form says there are no refunds.
Cash Back And Teacher Status
ID.me’s Paramount+ store page lists up to $4.50 cash back, with a note that only confirmed subscriptions qualify and online signup does not. ID.me’s teacher page for Paramount+ says it isn’t aware of Paramount+ offering Teachers community discounts, so the teacher offer is the SheerID one above, and we haven’t seen a way to combine the two. If you’d rather chase the cash back, read ID.me’s terms first, because activating it may not work with a promo-code signup.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
We didn’t submit the form, so we can’t describe what you receive after verifying or how the discount is applied to your account. Paramount+’s own education page covers students only, so the teacher offer rests on the verification form and SheerID’s listing and isn’t described on Paramount+’s consumer site. The form also doesn’t say what happens to an existing subscription. Ask Paramount+ support before you cancel a plan to redeem it.
