Full disclosure: If you visit a link on this page and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Amazon is one of the world’s largest online retailers and they provide an assortment of different products and services. Their most acclaimed offering, Amazon Prime, provides free two-day shipping for eligible purchases as well as access to streaming movies and TV shows. Amazon also holds special sales events such as Prime Day that offer discounted school and classroom supplies.

Teachers can save on back-to-school purchases through Amazon Education Store. This dedicated section of their website features many of the same products available elsewhere but at discounted rates. They also offer other ways of saving, such as textbook rental service for up to 30 days at reduced rates or Prime Wardrobe which allows teachers to try clothes before buying them.

Though Amazon doesn’t officially provide teacher discounts, administrators can sign up for Amazon Business to access tax-exempt purchases and discounts – something teachers will find particularly useful in purchasing supplies in bulk and procuring industrial-grade equipment for schools or janitorial staff. Furthermore, multiple teachers can share one account and benefit from quantity discounts when ordering school supplies.
