How To Get The Royal Caribbean Teacher Discount
There’s no teacher rate to claim. ID.me’s Royal Caribbean page says: “We’re not aware that Royal caribbean offers Teachers discounts.” The older version of this post described a teacher program that asked for a teaching certificate, union card or a letter from a principal, but we couldn’t find any such program, so those details have been taken out.
Royal Caribbean’s own website wouldn’t load for us when we checked, so we haven’t read its current offers first-hand. A cruise line can change its fares and offers any day, which is one more reason to ask a travel agent or Royal Caribbean directly whether any educator rate applies to the sailing you’re considering.
Cash Back Routes We Checked
Fluz lists Royal Caribbean gift cards with 10% cash back. You buy the gift card in the Fluz app and then use it toward your cruise. Fluz’s page says: “You may also call (800) 256-6649 and have the Royal Caribbean phone rep manually redeem it for your booking.” So a gift card can be applied to a booking by phone. Before you buy, check the terms on the Fluz page, including whether the card can cover the full fare and any taxes and fees you owe on your sailing.
Rakuten had no Royal Caribbean listing that we could find, and TopCashback had no page at the address we tried. Cash back rates change often, so read the current figure in the app before you buy.
What We Couldn’t Confirm
ID.me saying it isn’t aware of a teacher program isn’t the same as Royal Caribbean saying none exists, and since the cruise line’s site was unavailable to us, we can’t rule out a promotion running for a particular sailing. We also couldn’t confirm that the Fluz gift card works for every kind of booking, so treat the 10% as a figure to verify, not a guarantee.
